There are only a few days left to get some posts registered here for the year. I decided I would take this opportunity to brag on me and show off today’s Wordle.

Mt Spokane Opening Day…Finally
We had a good few days of snowfall on Mt Spokane and they opened today for the first time this season. It looks like it’s pretty limited, with only Chair Three and Chair Five open.
I’m hoping to go up soon but as I predicted earlier, it’s not going to be this year.Thursday, December 18, 2025
Happy Fat Guy
I haven’t posted much here about my weight. I still have weight. I seem to be hovering around 228 pounds. I would love to end the year as close to 220 as I can get but I don’t think that is going to happen.
One thing I would like to note here is a major change in my appetite. I can easily go all day without eating. I don’t suffer from hunger pangs at all. I eat almost more out of habit than hunger.
This is startling to me because I have always enjoyed eating. Especially something savory like a nice rare steak or anything sweet. Love me some ice cream.
I think one of the reasons I haven’t been losing much weight lately is because I’ve been rocking the Nog quite a bit this almost winter. A little splash of Dry Fly Whiskey in a glass full of Egg Nog and I’m a happy fat guy.

More PICC Issues
I’m continuing to have problems with my PICC line. It’s the same issue. I’m getting bleeding at the PICC site.
This is not a problem I had with the previous PICC line. Just since they replaced it last month.
I still believe that the problem is caused by my stretch my arm past my head when I sleep on my stomach.
My only evidence to back up that claim is that generally, I notice the blood pooling in the dressing in the morning. When I went to bed, the dressing was clean.
I’ll be paying more attention this coming week father they change my dressing.

PICC Line Update
I have been having some issues with my PICC Line. I want to leave an update here to record what has been happening.
I woke up on Tuesday with my PICC site pretty bloody. The blood was working its way out from under the dressing and staining my mesh sleeve.
I called in to Providence Infusion (P.I.P.) and reported the problem and sent along this picture.
They decided to send a nurse to change the dressing and investigate the wound.Once the nurse arrived, she changed the dressing, was able to get blood to flow out of the secondary hose and all was well. I was instructed to keep an eye on it and look out for signs of infection.
Later that rainy day, we went out and purchased our Christmas tree. Upon arriving home, Susan and I carried the tree from the truck to the Carriage House, where we let it sit over night to dry off. I bring this up because I am not supposed to lift heavy stuff with my PICC Line arm because it could irritate the line.
I lift heavy stuff all the time and haven’t had any problems.
Yesterday, Wednesday, I woke up with a slightly bloody PICC line dressing. Is it possible this was caused by the tree move? Don’t know, but don’t think so.
I called in to P.I.P. and sent the above picture. They decided that it wasn’t quite as bad and since I was scheduled for my regular weekly dressing change on Thursday, they would wait until then (today) to address the problem.
So Deb showed up today at 9am and changed the dressing, added some sort of anti coagulant pad and as of now, all is well.
I think the problem involves my sleep positions. I like to lay on my stomach and stretch my arms under the pillow and past my head. I think that is causing the line to move and then bleed.
Last night, I made a conscious effort to not extend my right arm past my head. This morning, the wound was no bloodier than when I went to bed last night.
I shall continue to monitor the situation.
Consider yourself updated!
