The Curse of the Knife - Continued

God has such a wonderful sense of humor.

I went out to Idaho yesterday to fill up the truck. Gas is $4.40 a gallon over there as opposed to $5.20 here. It also gives me the chance to visit the liquor store. I added another stop at Buck Knives and bought another knife like the one I lost.

I told the cashier I was buying it so I would find the one I lost.

Well, it worked. I stood up from one of the kitchen chairs just now and felt a hard lump on the back. There, clipped into a little hole in the chair fabric, was my knife.

I can’t even believe how well my plan worked. Just 24 hours after buying the replacement, the old one shows up. I cannot for the life of me figure out how it ended up there.

I am baffled. But God is funny!
