I am finally getting serious about working out. I got out of bed at 5 this morning and made my way down to the gym. I started slow, spending 20 minutes on the Eliptical Cross Country machine and ten minutes on the treadmill. I actually ran half a mile, which I think is pretty good for a first day back in training.
The scale presented me with a pleasant surprise as shown in the heading of this entry. That is a nearly 5 pound loss over last week.
That is a Damn Fine Start.
