Another Running Update

My back seems to have mostly healed itself and doesn't bother me much. At least I can run again...such as it is. I have run twice this week and both times I could only muster a mile. Tuesdays' time was 11:01 and yesterday I did it in 11:35.

I'm really going to try for two miles tonight...but it's Friday so I can't make any promises.

Bad Weigh In

The home scale said 217. That sucks! I thought I had a pretty good weekend but I guess not. Something happened to my back on Saturday and I'm still a little stiff today.

Friday Night Run

I didn't run yesterday, partly because of a good steady rain coming down. But also because I still felt pretty wiped out from the two miles I ran on Wednesday. I have had to take a day off after each two mile run. My time for Wednesday was 25:12. That is not very respectable but better than if I had not run at all.

I'm still weighing in at about 213ish. I'm not losing weight because I keep straying into food. My will power sucks and I really need to discipline myself better.

I am happy to report that I did run tonight. I only ran a mile because I'm planning on attending a running training symposium tomorrow morning. Since I only had a mile to complete, I tried to make my best time. I had my best time so far this year with 10:50. I will attempt to beat that time tomorrow at the running training symposiarium.

Semi Night Off

My legs were not happy with me yesterday. I felt creaks and groans I haven't felt for a while. There was some occassional weakness in my left knee.

I decided to take the night off but not completely. I walked the park. I walked at a pretty good pace. I think it was about 14 minutes. I bet if I work on it, I can walk the park as fast as I run it.

Two Mile Goal

I made two miles for the first time last night. Now that the time has changed to DST, it's lighter longer in the evening and much more enjoyable to run.

I ran the two miles in 24:12. That second mile was slower than the first, which took me about 11:30.

My legs are not happy with me today. They are stiff and crackly. We'll see how I do tonight.

Exercise to Ski

I didn't run tonight but I have offset that deficit by skiing tomorrow. I am sure I will get more than enough of a workout to make up for missing my run.

Next , I will be writing from the Hospital Room.

Run Run Run

I ran the loop in 12:08 last night. I tried for two laps the night before but decided to wait until next week to add a mile. I started running with my wife who is much faster, and she wore me out.

Running Update

I ran three out of 5ive days last week. My other two times were over 12 minute miles.

I ran last night. Did the mile in 12:12. Kind of rainy.

I'm going to attempt two miles tonight. We shall see how I do.
