Gram or Plasty?

6:17 AM: Nearly one month after declaring myself healthy (on paper), I am heading to the hospital for a scheduled Angiogram.

My breathing issues have not improved and perhaps have gotten slightly worser.

So today is the day when we hopefully find out what is going on.

It doesn't feel like a heart issue because I have none of the associated symptoms of a heart issue. There's no chest pain, tingly arms or jaw.

I just can't get a good breath and my stamina is in the toilet.

So, the question now is whether it is going to be an Angiogram or and Angioplasty. The procedure is set for 9AM. Stay tuned!

12:35PM: We are back home. It was a gram, not a plasty. That's the good news. The bad news is that my Ejection fraction, the amount of blood my heart squeezes out every beat, is way down. Between 15 to 20%.

So now begins the task of regaining some strength. I meet with the doctor next week and work out a plan.

Now, I'm going to take a nap!

6:38PM: After a couple of naps, I feel pretty good. My wound is healing where they stuck in the catheter and I'm feeling tired but good.

We are going to hang out and catch up on some Breaking Bad.
